As an apothecary, sometimes I begin with a recipe. Other times, I begin with a question.

What could I create as a heartfelt offering to Aphrodite?

I kept returning to the story of her birth from the sea. Before the roses, the pearls, and the love stories, there was sea foam. A seashell felt like a beautiful place to begin, a small tribute to her origins, ready to hold a little light.

So I poured two.
