Inside the Soft Launch: What the Goddess Squad Is Teaching Me

A soft launch is basically the part where I invite you into my little “studio” before every jar has decided what outfit it wants to wear. The products are available, but I’m still testing, listening, and figuring out what truly deserves a permanent place inside Goddess Apothecary.

The Goddess Squad started very casually. I would bring something I made to work, hand it to one of my coworkers, and say, “Here, smell this.” 😂

That simple question turned into a wonderful little group of women and men who are willing to test my products and give me honest feedback. Not the polite “Oh, this is nice” feedback either. I’m talking about the useful kind. Is the fragrance strong enough? Does it last? How does the texture feel a few hours later? Is the name memorable? Is the container easy to use? Would you actually spend your money on it?

Their feedback has changed the way I think about my shop.

I don’t want Goddess Apothecary to be built only around what I assume you want. I want it to be shaped by what real customers actually enjoy, use, need, and come back to purchase again. That means listening when something is a clear favorite and being willing to let go when an idea isn’t quite working. Even when I personally thought she was cute. Whew.

My goal is simple: to provide you with the best products I can make by hand, centered around intentional spiritual living.

That means creating beautifully scented body care, intention candles, and spiritual goods that fit naturally into your everyday life. Products that help you protect your peace, connect with your intuition, care for your body, and bring a little more meaning and magic into ordinary moments.

During the soft launch, some vessels, labels, names, formulas, or fragrances may change before the official October 13 opening. Some products may be adjusted or discontinued. I would rather learn what needs fixing now than sell you something that looks beautiful but doesn’t live up to the Goddess Apothecary experience.

Customer service is also part of the product. If you have a question, need help choosing a fragrance, or aren’t sure which product fits your needs, please reach out. I want you to feel comfortable asking before you purchase. And if something isn’t right after your order arrives, I want the opportunity to help.
